Write to support@pixeye.app with your phone model and its iOS or Android version. A person answers, usually within two days.
Pixeye cannot answer questions about your health: for that, see an eye doctor, an orthoptist or an optician.
Frequently asked
Are Pixeye's results reliable?
Pixeye gives information, not a diagnosis. The tests are drawn at the right size and distance, but the result also depends on the screen, the light and how the test is taken. The "How it works" page in the app (Settings) describes each method and its limits. If in doubt, or if your eyesight changes, see a professional.
Pixeye asks me to measure the screen with a card.
On most phones, Pixeye knows the real size of the screen. When it does not, place a bank-card-sized card (a loyalty card, an ID card…) on the screen and fit the rectangle to it. You can measure again in Settings, "Screen size".
The distance is not measured.
Check that Pixeye can use the camera (phone Settings, Pixeye, Camera). Face the phone, with your face well lit and fully visible; glasses are fine. Otherwise, tap "Continue without measuring" and estimate the distance as best you can (a ruler helps): the result will be less precise.
The colour tests look wrong.
Some settings change the screen's colours: turn off Night Shift and True Tone on iPhone, "eye comfort" or "night light" on Android, and the accessibility colour filters. On Samsung, choose the "Natural" screen mode. Take the test in a well-lit room, with no glare on the screen.
Pixeye does not offer to answer out loud.
Pixeye only recognises speech on the phone, without sending anything. If your phone cannot do that offline, voice answers are not offered: another person near the phone can tap your answers. Also check that Pixeye can use the microphone and speech recognition.
I changed phones: how do I get Pixeye Plus back?
Sign in with the same Apple or Google account you bought it with, then in Pixeye open Settings, Pixeye Plus, and tap "Restore purchases". Your results only move from one phone to another through the phone's backup (iCloud or Google).
How do I delete my results?
In Pixeye, open Settings and tap "Delete all my results". Removing the app deletes them too. Your results are never on our servers: we can neither see nor delete them for you.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple and Google. On iPhone, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android, from your Google Play order history.
