The tests

Three tests are free. Pixeye Plus, a one-time purchase with no subscription, unlocks the others, the history of your results and the PDF report.

Quick colour test Free

Find the number hidden in coloured dots. A version with shapes is there for children.

Astigmatism Free

A dial of lines: do some look darker?

Central vision Free

The Amsler grid: do the lines stay straight and whole? Draw the warped areas with your finger.

Detailed colour test Plus

A test that adapts to your answers, to suggest the type and degree.

Colour arrangement Plus

Put coloured caps in order of hue.

Near vision Plus

Smaller and smaller Es at 40 cm, one eye at a time.

Distance vision Plus

The phone standing 2 to 3 meters away: answer out loud, or someone taps your answers.

Red/green duochrome Plus

Are your distance glasses still right?

Contrast Plus

Fainter and fainter Es.

The right size, at the right distance

An eye test only means something if what you look at has the right size. Pixeye takes care of it.

The real size of the screen

Pixeye knows the size of your phone's screen, or you measure it once with a bank-card-sized card.

The distance, measured

The front camera measures the distance between your eyes and the screen, and Pixeye guides you to the right one. The images never leave the phone.

The conditions, checked

Brightness, colour filters, one eye covered: before each test, Pixeye tells you what to set.

Your results stay with you

No account, no ads. Your results are stored on your phone and never sent to us. Spoken answers are recognised on the phone and never recorded. All about your data.

Information, not a diagnosis. Pixeye does not replace an examination by an eye doctor, an orthoptist or an optician. The results give an indication, which also depends on your screen and on how the test was taken. If in doubt, or if your eyesight changes, see a professional.
